We want to thank all of you who have embraced this new way of giving. The response has been exceptional. We had a great roll-out plan for Pushpay which would have slowly introduced it and explained in detail the whys and hows until the implementation. Unfortunately with the unexpected Covid-19 pandemic, we were forced to scrap our roll-out plan/schedule and just make it available. Pushpay is a great and innovative company. They are also very supportive to the parishes they serve. Overall it has gone great, thanks to all of you. There are some features we would like to have that are currently not available. but we are continually working with the Pushpay team to request changes/updates that will better meet the needs of the Mary Queen Community. If you have questions or need assistance with Pushpay, please contact JoEllen Baker at jbaker@maryqueenchurch.org.
The text-to-give, giving via Mary Queen App and on-line giving are available for you to use. For on-line giving go to pushpay.com/g/maryqueencatholicchurch, you can text the words Mary Queen to 77977 or download the Mary Queen App on your smartphone! Pushpay currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as well as ACH (bank account) payments!
Current Faith Direct Users
If you are currently using Faith Direct, it will be available through the end of June. To cancel your Faith Direct account, click on this link https://membership.faithdirect.net/TX242 and log into your account. Scroll down to the bottom right corner, you will see “Cancel My eGiving Account”. If it does not allow you to cancel on-line, you can call them at 1-866-507-8757. You will not lose any of your giving history at Mary Queen Church.
To set up your recurring contribution on Pushpay, simply text the words MARY QUEEN to 77977 or click on this link https://pushpay.com/g/maryqueencatholicchurch. As you set up your recurring gift you will complete the creation of your new account. Unlike Faith Direct, Pushpay does not give us the option at this time to make all second collections visible or to schedule annual giving. We are currently working on that with Pushpay and we will have a temporary solution soon until the "Annual" giving button is developed.
