Texas Catholic Pro-Life Day Saturday, January 27th
The Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops is proud to promote the annual Texas Catholic Pro-Life Day. Taking place during the same weekend as the Texas Rally for Life, there will be multiple events throughout the day that you, your family and your church can participate in. The upcoming statewide Pro-Life March and Rally will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Austin. We invite you to attend Mass and prayer vigils before the March:
7:00 AM Prayer Vigil Praying for an End to Abortion and a Restoration of the Dignity of Human Life Planned Parenthood, 201 E. Ben White Blvd., Austin
9:15 AM Divine Mercy Chaplet The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be led by young people San José Parish 2435 Oak Crest, Austin
9:45 AM Divine Mercy Chaplet The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be led by young people St. Louis Parish, 7601 Burnet Rd., Austin
10:30 AM – Bishop Daniel Garcia, Celebrant St. Louis King of France Parish, 7601 Burnet Road Austin
Over the past several years we have seen an increasing number of Catholic faithful participating in Mass; therefore, to accommodate the increased presence, the Diocese will offer two locations for the celebration of the Eucharist.
Please come to join these events as you show your love and respect for the sacredness of life and the dignity of the human person - from conception to natural death. Please visit the Austin Diocese or Texas Rally for Life websites for more information. Of course, we also hope you are able to participate in any local events this month which honor our Church's profound respect for human life.
St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland is taking a bus to this event. If you are interested in reserving a spot on the bus, please contact Richard Lang at 713-298-4755.
