The Divine Mercy Novena and Chaplet will begin on Good Friday, March 30th, in the St. Joseph Chapel following the 3:00 PM Stations of the Cross. The remaining eight days of the Novena (March 31st – April 7th) will be prayed each day in the Chapel at 3:00 PM. In addition at 7:00 PM, on April 2nd – 6th, there will be Fr. Michael Gaitley’s ‘Divine Mercy – In the Second Greatest Story Ever Told’ video series and Divine Mercy Chaplet in the Bride’s Room.
On April 8th, we will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with an afternoon Holy Hour at 3:00 PM in the Chapel. During this Holy Hour, there will be Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Divine Mercy Prayers and Benediction.
Jesus said to St. Faustina… Say unceasingly the chaplet I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy. (687)*
At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the pardon is the same. (811)*
