Join us Sunday, April 28th from 1:00 to 230 PM in the Mary Queen Parish Hall, Rooms 114/115, for a discussion on “Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease: What to Expect” led by Ranay Danek, RN, BSN, CHPN, with Providence Hospice.
Ranay, with 20 years of experience in Healthcare and 17 years with End of Life Supports experience (and back to Mary Queen Church by popular request), will provide helpful and practical knowledge to understanding the signs, treatment and caregiving for the anticipated Dementia/Alzheimer’s journey. Helpful answers to such questions as: What to do when a loved one refuses treatment? When is assisted living necessary? What are the basic facts about Dementia and how is it different from Alzheimer’s disease? Our loved ones will experience a number of physical changes.
